We usually get the chance to get into our first camping trip when we reach grade school. During these years, we are usually involved in clubs such as girl and boy scouts and this is where we get our first camping experience. Other kids might have gotten their camping experiences from summer camps as they spend their summer vacation.

No matter where we get our first camping experience, it is surely an event that fills us with memories. There are lots of activities that take place during camping. Aside from the activities during daytime, there are other things that take place during camping that are worth remembering.

During camping, it is the time where we get the chance to sit around bonfires. Usually, campers are gathered around the pile of wood and fire and this is where their nighttime activity is being held. The common activities held in front of the bonfire are singing, roasting marshmallows, open forums and a lot more. Campers usually stay in front of the bonfire until all the woods are burned.

Aside from bonfires, camping is also a chance to stay outdoors. This is an opportunity for people to experience sleeping in tents. It may not be as comfortable as sleeping in your own bed but still, campers enjoys sleeping inside tents lying on sleeping bags.

Camping is also an event to get closer to nature. This is the time where you will be able to appreciate nature and its beauty. Just remember that in order for you to appreciate camping, leave behind your glamorous lifestyle while in the city and expect to live a simpler life.
