Choosing a Religion
Nowadays, there are lots of different religions emerging in our community. Each religion has its own beliefs and traditions. Some beliefs may have similarities to other religions and some may be a complete opposite of the other. Because of these differences, some people gets confused on the right religion to get involved into especially since each of these religions has its own promises of salvation.
Religions are meant to guide humans to live a worthy life on earth. The rules or teachings governing the religion are created with accordance to the divine inspiration that may have guided the leader of that particular religion. The differences on the religions might have started because of the differences on their interpretation to this divine inspiration. However, it may hurt to accept the truth, but some religions that are encouraging followers are fakes. These fake religions are just created to gain power, human control and money. Because of this, you need to observe and reflect if the teachings are really helping you to live a holier and Godlier life.
These days, you cannot really claim that your religion is the true religion. This would stir up trouble with the followers of other religions and it will be a rude act. For some people, a religion does not matter as long as you feel that it is guiding you towards the right path on how to live. As long as you feel that you are being guided towards the light, it may not be that bad. Besides, God gave us our rationale to decide whether we are doing something right or wrong. We just need to use it and God will surely give us a hint if ever we are leading astray.
